Black sand beach, the result of volcanic eruptions that occurred in the last ice age, basalt columns, grottoes and caves.
GULLFOS
Located at the eastern end of the Golden Circle, Gullfoss has established itself as one of the most iconic waterfalls in Iceland.
MÚLAGLJÚFUR
One of the hidden treasures of the island, this canyon formed by the melting ice that occurs in summer, has formed a unique canyon full of waterfalls.
FJADRÁRGLJÚFUR
One of the oldest canyons on the island, formed by glacial erosion. It was one of the places I most wanted to visit in Iceland and it didn't disappoint.
VÍK Í MÝRDAL
Vik is a remote seafront village located in the south of Iceland. It's at the shadow of the Myrdalsjökull glacier, which covers the Katla volcano. Reyniskirkja is a wooden church dating from 1929.
JÖKULSÁRLÓN
Located at the southern end of the Vatnajökull glacier, the largest of Iceland's glaciers. At the lake you can see the floating icebergs that are detached from the glacier tongue and we were also able to observe wild gray seals.
